The psychological issues that it explore is that Valarie had to deal with the problem her boyfriend Nick left behind.

Some evidence of the unconscious is that Nick tried killing everyone who was in the list. The problem was he didn’t realize he would be the one dead. The author constructed the text by showing how Valarie saved a girls life without noticing that it would take away Nicks. Desires are represented in the text by Nick and Valarie wanting to get back at everyone who at some point bullied them.

The conflict that caused for Electra was that Valarie was getting bullied so she would rage to Nick in order to get the attention and love she wanted. She also went to list they had and added names every time they did something to her in order for her to feel better. Dreams was an aspect to the text because she wanted everyone gone that did harm to her without thinking about reality and how it could effect her life.
